Description
According to the proposed plan of the IAPP action ATLAS-MHC (ADVANCED METAL HYDRIDE HYDROGEN COMPRESSORS – PILOT DEVELOPMENT AND MARKET PENETRATION) a senior experienced researcher (> 10 years of experience) will be recruited by Hystore Technologies Ltd in Cyprus for 12 months to assist in RES/MHC system integration, regulation and policy aspects and the development of further MHC business applications.
The corresponding rectruitment is expecting to start on June 1st 2017 and the FP7/Marie Curie Actions rules will be applied to calculate the exact montlhy salary rate.
In that respect, ATLAS-MHC project has been seeking for a senior expert on integrated hydrogen systems development and applications with engineering background and significant experience in large scale energy and environment projects, to be recruited for a period of 12 months in Nicosia, Cyprus by Hystore Technologies Ltd. The applicant should have at least 10 years of experience in managing European and/or National Projects in the field of Energy or/and Environment. He/she should also have experience in conducting techno-economical and life cycle analysis of energy systems (preferably on hydrogen related power systems) and provide expertise in market related issues including legislative, regulations and standardization aspects, business development and project management. For that, it is desirable that the candidate possesses a PhD in the field of environmental and/or energy regulation and policy as well as strong background in Business Administration or similar areas.
An international, competitive recruitment strategy will be applied for the external expert foreseen in ATLAS-MHC. The recruitment policy will be in accordance with the prevailing policy of HYSTORE and includes publication of the vacancy (apart from EURAXESS) in websites and newspapers. The recruitment procedure will be also in line with the principles set out in the European Charter for Researchers and in the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
A selection panel consisting of the person in charge at the partner where the recruit will work (HYSTORE), the project coordinator (NCSRD), and one more invited external expert will be formed in order to decid on the candidate to be recruited.
